What is the volume of a right circular cylinder with a diameter of 8 meters and a height of 12 meters. Leave the answer in terms of π. 96π m3 192π m3 603π m3 768π m3
if the diameter is 8 meters, then its radius is half that, or 4 meters.
[tex]\textit{volume of a cylinder}\\\\ V=\pi r^2 h~~ \begin{cases} r=radius\\ h=height\\[-0.5em] \hrulefill\\ r=4\\ h=12 \end{cases}\implies V=\pi (4)^2(12)\implies V=192\pi[/tex]
It’s 589 I did the same thing in my math class:)
